Now Alberta Ballet Associate Artistic Director Christopher Anderson puts his own spin on the story with a shimmering new production that takes its lead from Charles Perrault's 1697 adaptation and incorporates Prokofiev's unforgettable and mesmerising score and sets by Pete Farmer, a British theatre legend known for his bewitching design.
