A Dance Celebration of Leonard Cohen's Legacy

Alberta Ballet presents Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal in Dance Me, an effervescent celebration of the music and enduring legacy of Canadian singer songwriter, poet and novelist Leonard Cohen. His songcraft comes to kinetic life on the stage thanks to the creative and collaborative vision of renowned Colombian-Belgian choreographer Anabelle Lopez Ochoa, Greek contemporary dance champion Andonis Foniadakis and award-winning dance master Ishan Rustem. 

The choreographers' diverse range of styles and disciplines come together in a riot of color, motion and emotion, translating Cohen's poetry and its insight into what it means to be human into an ambitious multimedia work. Reflecting five seasons and five grand cycles of life, the world premiere production makes its first curtain call in Calgary before heading out on a world tour.
